Episode 50 Show Notes

The Trend Report Podcast has reached episode 50! This is actually a HUGE accomplishment but it wouldn’t be possible with you. I’m sharing why this is such a milestone in the life of a podcast as well as what I’ve learned in this process. But first, thank you so much for being here and making this possible.

To start I want to thank my team. Along with our listeners without these ladies, this podcast would not be possible. So thank you to Kayla, my podcast editor, Jacey, my executive administrative assistant, Jamie-Clare, head of marketing, and Tyler, our YouTube expert. This team truly makes things happen and I appreciate you so much.

Next up, some stats. Podcasting has really boomed in the last three years. There are now 1.96+ million podcasts on Apple Podcasts as of March 2021 versus 550,000 podcasts on the platform in 2018. Not all of them are active however. In fact only 37% of those podcasts are active.

Since so many podcasts succumb to podfade, with us having reached episode 50 with an average of 300 downloads per episode, we are in the top 10% of all podcasts. Which is amazing!

I’ve learned so much through this process of podcasting and there is so much to celebrate. Listen in to hear all of my revelations as well as few of my absolute favorite things! I’ve had so much fun on this journey so far, and I’m looking forward to all that is still to come.
