Episode 79 Show Notes

Overall, there has been a significant focus on health and wellness as a whole, but specifically in the workplace. Because of the pandemic of 2020 and 2021 the vast majority of industries have completely changed how and where they work. What does that mean for the employees affected by these changes?

That’s one of the questions INDEAL Cares sought to answer through their annual Industry Survey. The very first survey was taken in June of 2020 and they plan to repeat the survey annually in June. This year they ran it again and the results were telling.

First and foremost, their goal is to get an idea of where people are truly at and how they feel about the workplace and the changing landscape of work.

Of course many of their questions focus on their four pillars of health advocacy work, but they also asked questions pertaining to working from home versus in the office and whether or not employees intended to return to the office.

The results of the survey are truly fascinating. For instance, 59% of the people surveyed indicated that they’d rather work in the office than at home. Additionally, many more people self-reported issues with the ergonomic setup and their spinal health.

Listen in to hear all the pertinent results of the survey and what it means for the industry. The work INDEAL Cares is doing is invaluable and this survey is just one way that they are making a real impact in the world. You won’t want to miss out on this wealth of information!
